How did Danny Gans Die? What happened to Danny Gans?

It's been days since Danny Gans died and we still haven't been told why.  Suspicion here is warranted, but it need not be anything to make us gasp.  To the best of our knowledge, Mr. Gans was a healthy 52-year-old male who did not do drugs or drink.  He was slender, so we can assume he was healthy.  At 52, he's still considered young by many standards, to include medical and social standards.  For him to simply die in his sleep is at best confounding.  People do indeed die in the middle of the night for no apparent reason, and after they have died, is it really worth exploring what happened?   For me, the answer is 'yes, is it worth exploring' , but not for anything sleazy or sickening.  When someone dies young, and they were as talented and hard working as Danny Gans was, it is always worth exploring.

Will we ever know how Danny Gans died? Will we ever know what happened to Danny Gans?

Hopefully

The Curtain Falls

The final words of "The Curtain Falls":

"Your cheers and laughter will linger after

They've torn down these dusty walls

People say I was made for this

Nothin' else would I trade for this

And just think I get paid for this ...

"Goodnight ladies and gentlemen and God love you."

Vegas Celebrities Remember Danny

Las Vegas celebrities react to the death of Danny Gans…..

Cher: “I was shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden passing of such a unique and gifted talent.”

Celine Dion: “I’m very, very sad, and completely shocked to hear the news about Danny…[My husband] Rene and I have loved him very much since the first time we saw him and met him at the Rio in 1997. Not only was he the best in his field, but he was such a kind and loving person. About a month before my last show at Caesars, Danny and his wife Julie, and their daughters came to see us. We talked and laughed for over an hour. I can’t believe he’s not with us anymore, and our heart goes out to his family. I wish them God’s strength.”

Siegfried & Roy: “We are devastated at the tragic loss of the great entertainer and Las Vegas icon, Danny Gans…Having performed on the same property with Danny for many years, we were blessed to be touched by his generous spirit, kind heart and insurmountable talent…Our hearts go out to his family as we join the entertainment community in mourning the loss of our friend. The Las Vegas Strip is better for having had Danny Gans’ light shine so brightly, and it will be forever impacted by his loss.”

Donny Osmond: “The unexpected passing of Danny Gans is such a shock to everyone here at Donny & Marie. He was not only our producer but also a good friend. I would call him for advice and direction regarding our show. We’ve lost an amazing entertainer. His friendship, charisma and talent will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to his wife, Julie and their 3 children. God bless you, Danny Gans.”

Steve Wynn: “Elaine and I and all of us in the company are devastated at the loss of our brilliant, talented and loving friend. One of the most unique human beings and entertainers in the world has been taken from us in an unexpected moment…A profoundly tragic event that leaves us all sad and speechless. The loss of Danny to his wife Julie, his children Amy, Andrew and Emily, is at this moment impossible to comprehend. We will all try to go on with our lives without our dear friend. At this moment it seems almost impossible.”

Poem From A Fan

Oh my dearest Danny Gans
Oh how many voices and talents you have
If only for another day the world could feel your joy
My dearest Danny Gans

Oh The Strip will be bare
Oh Sinatra Oh Elvis Oh my dear Gans
Vegas and the world are not a better place
Because you are all gone

May you find peace in your rest
My dearest Danny Gans

With love,

Marcia And Tim

Were There Premonitions?

There is buzz starting out there on the web that people may have had "Premonitions" about something happening to Danny. Maybe the Vegas folklore around beloved entertainers, maybe coincidence, or maybe it's true. Apparently the Rap artist Andre Legacy stated in his song that Danny Gans was going to disappear, which seems ridiculous. Apparently the authors behind a popular women's advice website Picked By Guys, have told a San Francisco Bay Area newspaper that they had strange dreams and feelings about Danny this previous weekend in Vegas. They went as far as to say they were toasting him nightly out of concern.

What ever the situation here, it is clear that our beloved legend Danny Gans is going to live on in the history, folklore, and hearts of Las Vegas and people everywhere.

A True Legend In His Own Time

Please Leave Some Memories Or Wishes For Danny

He was as much a part of Vegas as Sinatra, Elvis and other greats to dawn the stages of The Strip. Please honor Danny by leaving some well wishes or memories here.

RIP Danny Gans
